A warm welcome awaits at Lomond Nursery. The Nursery is located in Clarendon, which houses our younger Junior School children and has its own impressive garden including an adventure play area. The safe gardens compliment the stunning interior which provides a warm and welcoming space for learning. Indoors and out, our children are constantly engaged in active, pupil centred, learning. The highly qualified and experienced Nursery staff team provides a safe and nurturing environment for the children to grow and develop, encouraging independence in a relaxed but structured environment.
Lomond Nursery is an Argyll and Bute Partnership Nursery and works within the national Curriculum for Excellence, focusing on guiding the children through the Early Year’s Experiences and Outcomes within the eight curricular areas. We also work closely with parents to ensure we are familiar with, and building on, the children’s home experiences as we create our pupil centred learning experiences.
The Nursery provision offers morning, afternoon and full day sessions from 8.00 am to 6.00 pm and runs during term time only.
Priority criteria for Nursery admissions
Please note that we give priority to Nursery children who have elder siblings at the School and to those children who will be transitioning from Nursery into Junior 1 in order to ensure continuity of education.
