Junior School Carol Service

The Junior School Carol Service took place this week with pupils putting on a heart-warming service.

Along with readings of the Christmas story, each class performed and several other groups played too, including the Clarendon Strings, the combined Junior Choir, the Transitus Strings, the Junior Clarsach Ensemble and separate duets featuring brass, guitars and voices.

We also heard a performance of ‘I saw three ships’ on oboe and flute accompanied by accordions.

Our many talented young musicians were very well-received by the enthusiastic congregation and the singing of the combined carols was excellent, especially the firm favourite of the Clarendon Carol.

It certainly felt a lot like Christmas!
