Our boarding house, Burnbrae, is home to up to 60 boys and girls from both the UK and around the world.
We accept children from the age of 9 into boarding and, as well as full-time boarding, we are also able to offer weekly and other flexible arrangements for those based closer to the school.
Whether a full-time boarder, a weekly boarder or joining us for one term, all our boarders benefit from the same welcoming and nurturing environment, providing them with the best place to both live and learn. Visit the main boarding pages to find out more before applying.
As well as the traditional full boarding experience, where pupils are with us for a whole term at a time, we are also able to offer a more flexible weekly boarding package for those families where children are either able to return home at the weekends or who perhaps have extended family living locally.
Our weekly boarders join us on a Sunday evening and depart on a Friday after school. For those who hail from the West Highlands we offer a transport service to and from Oban with the possibility of other stops available en route.
We are also able to offer support to families looking for more flexible arrangements and have accommodated pupils looking for anything from 2 to 4 nights a week in the boarding house. If availability allows, we can also offer temporary boarding to support our families with one off or regular work commitments.
As with any prospective family, if you are interested in learning more about boarding, we would encourage you to contact our Admissions Manager and arrange a visit to see for yourself what we can offer.
The application process for our UK based boarders is the same as that for our day pupils and details can be found here.
