Welcome to Lomond School
As the west of Scotland’s only day and boarding school, Lomond School welcomes families from around the world to enjoy a first class education and lifestyle from ages 3 to 18. Our unique location in the coastal town of Helensburgh, on the edge of Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, provides a perfect setting to deliver a rounded education which inspires achievement and enquiring minds.
We passionately believe that education should be about supporting our pupils to develop and grow, both academically and personally, as rounded individuals with strong values. Through our Guiding Principles and School Values we prepare our young people for life beyond Lomond School, equipping them with the skills and qualifications to embark confidently and successfully on their future endeavours.
Boarding at Lomond
As the west of Scotland’s only boarding school, Lomond provides a great place to live and learn for local families and young people from around the world. For families based in Scotland, we offer a range of Flexible Boarding options which can be taken up on a short or long-term basis.
Welcoming international boarders
We have a long tradition of welcoming young people from around the globe from as far afield as Hong Kong, China, Russia and the United States to as near as: Spain, Germany and France. As a day school with boarding, Lomond offers international pupils the opportunity to fully immerse themselves in Scottish and British culture.
