Pupils from Transitus and Senior school competed in the Scottish Schools Argyll & Bute Trials this week at Helensburgh Pool, with the aim of qualifying for the Scottish Schools competition later this year.
There were medals galore across the year groups and the PE department praised the efforts of everyone who competed on the day. Congratulations to medal winners and all those who achieved ‘personal best’ performances:
- Daniel H (T1) won 4 Gold medals in the 50m Backstroke, 50m Butterfly, 50m Breaststroke & 50m Freestyle
- Alex J (S6) won 2 gold medals in the 100m & 200m Butterfly
- Monty J (S5) won gold in the 200m Freestyle
- William P (S3) won gold in the 100m Butterfly & silver in the 200m Breaststroke
- Fergus McEwan (T2) achieved bronze in both Breaststroke & Freestyle
- Zoe McE (S2) achieved bronze in 200m Breaststroke
- Rachael S (S3) achieved bronze in 100m Breaststroke
