Back in March 2019, we supported ‘Wear a Hat Day’, a campaign run by Brain Tumour Research as part of their Brain Tumour Awareness Month.
Our efforts were led by one of our pupils at the time whose family was directly affected by the illness. Now a Former Pupil, and having sadly recently lost her Mum, Daisy Harris recorded a video for this week’s assembly, telling her story and asking for continued support for this important charity as well as for St Margaret of Scotland Hospice and Maggie’s Centres.
We are once again incredibly proud of our community who stepped up and donated and we’re delighted to say that we have so far raised over £700.
We got a head start on this year’s Wear a Hat Day with some great examples on display at this week’s assembly.
