Teacher of Chemistry

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Chemistry to join our science department. The ideal candidate will have a strong subject knowledge, a creative approach to teaching, and the ability to engage students at all levels. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons that support student progress and ignite a curiosity for the natural world.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Chemistry across the Junior and Senior Schools.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that enables students to achieve their potential.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support development.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities and department initiatives.
  • Stay up-to-date with curriculum developments and innovative teaching practices.

The Ideal Candidate will:

  • Hold a relevant teaching qualification (PGCE/QTS or equivalent).
  • Have a strong academic background in Chemistry, ideally with a second science.
  • Demonstrate a passion for science and an ability to inspire young learners.
  • Possess excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • Be committed to ongoing professional development and collaboration with colleagues.
