Team Sport
Playing team sport not only provides many health benefits for our pupils but also develops characteristics in our young people which embrace our school Philosophy and Values and equips them for many different aspects of life beyond the sporting world.
Team sport is an integral part of life at Lomond with regular opportunities to play competitively against other schools in Hockey, Rugby, Netball and Cricket. Other teams compete, in season, across a variety of sports such as football and sailing.
Hockey
Hockey is the main girls’ sport at Lomond School and is played throughout the winter and summer terms.
Netball
Netball is an established and very successful sport at Lomond with teams from T1 (P6) to S6.
