We were delighted to welcome back FP Rebecca Edgar just before the October break.
Rebecca, who has played netball for The Sirens as well as the U17 and U21 Scotland teams is currently studying at Durham University towards a Masters degree.
Rebecca provided an insight for our current pupils into the benefits and opportunities that come with competing at the elite level of any sport and the level of commitment that is required to maintain that level.
Her coping strategies and advice particularly in regard to balancing each element of your life be it your training, school work or family were useful to many of our pupils looking to a future in competitive sport. Her talk was inspiring to say the least.
